Airbnb & Booking scraper that will help users to find the best wifi in the area.
I met with Sune**** on Upwork. She is a digital nomad and she was fed up with the bad wifi connections in the airbnb's she stayed. So she wanted to build a chrome extension that will scrape the airbnb and booking.com listings and show the wifi speed of the listings.
I have built the extension from scratch. It was a simple extension that will scrape the reviews and show the wifi speed of the listings. I have used puppeteer to scrape the listings and store the wifi speeds in the database.
I have also built a simple website that will show the listings and wifi speeds. I have used Next.js for the website and Tailwind for the styling.
This all took me 2 weeks to complete. I have also helped her to deploy the website to Vercel and the extension to Chrome Web Store.
Ugur is a great developer. He has built the extension and the website in a very short time.
